In 1958, traveling seed salesman Bob Bunch scraped together $1,000 as a down payment on Smith and Son Seed Store in Texarkana, Texas. Little did he and his wife, Betty, know that they had just laid the groundwork for a multimillion dollar company that continues to thrive 49 years later.
